As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building user-facing features, improving the front-end architecture, and optimizing application performance to enable faster and more reliable product experiences. You will analyze existing interfaces, components, and user flows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. With guild insights you will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design and implement new features, optimize code review processes, and implement front-end development best practices. This contract is CLT and paid in $BRL. What You'll Bring: 4+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting production web applications Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Solid knowledge of and experience with React Proficiency writing software used in a production environment Experience working on a platform with multiple services Excitement and motivation to expand your skillset and take on difficult challenges Team player mentality: highly collaborative, documentation-focused and recognizing how to balance asynchronous communications and virtual meetings A passion for solving complex technical problems in both new and legacy codebases A mindset of leaving the codebase better than how you found it Experience collaborating with multiple team members with varying experience levels to design and implement technical projects Ability to work and problem-solve independently A humble, collaborative, customer-focused, and highly curious approach to problem-solving Nice to have: Proficiency in using Golang and Ruby in a production environment Experience on an engineering enablement or platform team or experience contributing engineering-wide initiatives Additional Details: At Teachable, we are committed to providing fair and competitive pay (using market data to inform our pay bands), rewarding high performance, and ensuring all employees have the opportunity and ability to impact Teachable’s overall company value.
